A couple of years ago, I was inspired to run a series of workshops for women of African descent concerning health and well-being.
At the time, I had no idea what would be involved, what we would talk about, where it would be held and my small brain kept telling me that I wasn't good enough, that I wouldn't be able to hold the space and other small things to keep me fearful.
As normally happens, with some help from the lady who star hops, I started to get over myself and this year started the Sister's Suppers.
I have met the most incredible women and the sessions have become something bigger and better than my small brain could have imagined. I also continue to be amazed and inspired by Atreka @allnationsveganhouse who does her magic in the kitchen to provide us with the most delicious meals.
The final session in the current series will take place on Sunday 13th May and will be a celebration of all that we have achieved in the past few months, all that we will achieve in the months ahead and all that we are.
(You don't need to have attended the previous sessions to join, but pre-booking is essential)
