World Meditation Day

Happy World Meditation Day

What I have learned over the years is meditation does not need to look like this all the time.

For me, meditation or mindfulness is taking a few moments to connect in and be present with myself - my body, my mind, my breathing, my dreams and my fears.

Over the years, despite my best efforts to run away from it, meditation has become a non-negotiable part of my day.

Meditation or mindfulness does not need to be achieved by sitting in uncomfortable positions for hours on end. It can be found in our everyday tasks - cooking, eating, cleaning, walking the dog - anything that allows you to be present and connected with yourself (and all of your selves )
